Innsbruck & Swarovsky Crystal World

A trip to Austria would not be complete without having visited the capital of the federal state of Tyrol, Innsbruck. The city is beautifully located in the Inn river valley between the Tyrolean mountains. It looks back to a very long history and two Olympic Winter Games. Nearby Innsbruck is the famous Crystal World of Swarovsky, one of the most visited museums in Austria. Visitors are enchanted by this beautiful kind of crystal craftmanship and its visual effects.
Leaving from your hotel in Salzburg, this tour leads westwards towards the Tyrolean Alps and along the impressive mountain range Wilder Kaiser to the Inn river valley. After a scenic drive you will arrive at the Swarovsky Crystal World, where you have the opportunity to visit the museum and to have Lunch. Then this tour continues to Innsbruck, where you will see the highlights of the city, like the golden roof, the imperial palace or St. James cathedral. Before this tour leads back to Salzburg you will also visit the olympic area at Mount Isel.

From the hotel in Salzburg this tour leads westwards via Lofer and St. Johann towards the Tyrolean Mountains. After a scenic drive (photo stop included) along the mountain range Wilder Kaiser and through the Inn river valley this tour stops at the Swarovsky Crystal World. After a break including the visit of the museum and a Lunch break, the trip continues to the city of Innsbruck followed by a city tour covering the highlights of Innsbruck like the golden roof, the imperial palace or St. James cathedral. Finally there will be a stop at the olympic area at Mount Isel with a stunning view across the city. After this break the trip goes back to Salzburg through the Inn river valley and Rosenheim in Bavaria.
