Berchtesgaden - Bavarian Alps Tour

This tour leads to one of the most beautiful areas of Germany, the Bavarian Alps Region with all its interesting attractions. Starting from the hotel in Salzburg you travel southwest crossing the border to Germany. Soon you arrive at the Eagle's Nest bus terminal. On a special Eagle's Nest bus you first ascend on a fascinating mountain road and then by an elevator through the mountain up to an altitude of 6. 017 ft. at a very historical site, from where you have a real breathtaking view across the Bavarian Alps.
Back in the valley you will visit the salt mines. There you will enjoy a guided tour through the magical world of salt in the underground. For many centuries the salt trade was the main source of income in this area.
The next highlight will be Lake Königssee. You have the option to enjoy a lovely boat ride on this crystal- clear mountain lake.

From Salzburg this tour leads southwest to the beautiful region of Berchtesgaden, also known as the Bavarian Alps Region. After a short break in the charming mountain town Berchtesgaden, the tour leads back to Salzburg.
